Starting the Journey in Funchal our first stop will be at one of Madeira top viewpoints, Cabo Girão skywalk, one of the highest sea cliffs in the World with 580m, we then take the Madeira fascinating country roads towards Ribeira Brava for another stop in a lovely viewpoint and enjoy a cup of coffee. 

We then begin our adventure drive up to 1004m high Encumeada pass, the road winds up to Serra de Agua ( which was Madeira first water power station )  and arrives at the top of the valley, giving incredible views of the South and North coast.  continuing our journey to Bica da Cana and Paul da Serra, Madeiras biggest plateau mountain on many days a fascinating display of clouds arriving from the north and curling their way down the southern slops can be observed. after crossing Paul da serra we begin our descend to the sunniest part of the island Prazeres, Fajã da Ovelha, Paul do Mar, Jardim do mar, Calheta e Ponta de sol. having the opportunity to go for a swim in crystal clear waters or simply take a walks in the remote villages , contemplating the magnificent landscape
